The house is very spacious, luxury style, rich with natural light and stunning views of the lake just a few steps away. The the location was perfect. Rooms are large and cosy and has a masterchef kitchen well equipped. The host, Samir was responsive and helpful and we could contact him very easily. Would recommend to anyone and we would love to repeat the experience if we travel to Bancroft again!

Our stay at this lakehouse was very comfortable and enjoyable. The house, dock and both decks were spacious for our family of 12 and the side yard had plenty of room for our family to play lawn games. The neighborhood was quiet and the lake did not have alot of boat traffic which made it enjoyable for kayaking and kids to play or swim. The hard packed sand and clear water were a huge bonus. The water was shallow along the dock which would be great for small children. There are 3 steps down to the water with no handrail which may be difficult for somebody with mobility issues. As a positive, there is plenty shade down by the water for anyone who may want to take a break from the sun. Inside, the kitchen has plenty of counter space for multiple people to prepare food at one time. The bedrooms are very large, most beds were comfortable and bathrooms were beautifully updated. Communication with Samir was very easy, prompt and without issue. I would recommend staying here as our large family enjoyed our vacation from beginning to end.

Samir’s cottage is in a great location, we had a wonderful time. The cottage has everything you need and more. Very clean, private with a great view of the lake. He was a great host. I’d recommend others to stay and would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great multigenerational family reunion at Samir’s cottage. The lake was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the dock and boats. We walked outside of the property and found a nice trail in the woods close by for a hike. The cottage was quite accessible for one of our members who is in a wheelchair. The view from the dining area and living room was magnificent. We enjoyed watching movies and playing games in the two family rooms. The bedrooms were comfortable with lots of storage space. Towels and shower products were provided for our use. The kitchen was well-stocked, however could have used more serveware for large groups, and plastic dishes and glasses to bring to the dock. Several spices were stocked. The spare fridge was not very clean, but it served as a spot to store large food items. The indoor waterfall was a unique extra touch. Samir was responsive to messages and his instructions were clear. Overall we had a wonderful time!

Such a beautiful and modern cottage with all amenities and a fully equipped kitchen. Has a small beach with two kayaks and a canoe which we thoroughly enjoyed over the beautiful landlocked bay lake. At sunset we relaxed next to the Firepit looking over the calm lake. The bedrooms are very comfortable, equipped and bathroom/showers were clean and beautifully finished. The cottage also had a pool table and TV, PS4, board games for indoor entertainment. Also, cottage is just 7-9 minutes away from Bancroft downtown which has No Frills, Pharmacy, Subway, Bakeries, Pubs, Banks etc. so very conveniently located. Will definitely visit again.

What an amazing spot in Bay Lake! Beautiful sunset views in an expansive home, with great amenities and unique features like a

pond inside the house! Our winter vacation was tons of fun and think it would be even more fun in summer. Cheers!

We had the pleasure of staying at the cottage to celebrate this past New Years. It is a beautifully large cottage, located right on the lake with amazing view. Cottage has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen, we were also provided with firewood. Plenty of space and game room was great, large TV’s in multiple rooms. Even has a piano. Samir was an amazing host and very accomodating. We look forward to returning in the future.

I am in love with this place! We discovered this secret treasure with the help of a friend during December 2022. Honestly, the pictures would not do justice to what we experienced when we got there for the first time! We fell in love with this cottage. It was incredible to discover such a peaceful and gorgeous getaway so close to home. The cottage is warm and cozy with a great wifi connectivity (Starlink).

The best part of the cottage is a lake outside. We would definitely plan to visit this place again with friends and family during summers, that’s when you can enjoy water sports like kayaking and maybe a skinny dip (just kidding).

Samir is a great host who has been available to us any time we had a question. This place is a must try with friends and family.

We rented this cottage for my birthday celebration. We are very pleased that we made this choice.

*The place and nature are unusually beautiful.

*The house is very large and very comfortable, fully consistent with outdoor recreation.

* The house is very clean, warm and cozy.

* The owner is Mr. Samiir, an unusually polite and very decent good man.

*Most of all I was struck by the attitude of the owner to his business. The attitude towards the guests is very high and 100% focused on the comfort of the guests.

In short, if the highest score is 5, then I give 7 points.

Our group of 4 families spent the entire Thanksgiving weekend at Samir’s cottage. A memorable experience for sure, clean and very nicely furnished cottage, all the amenities in mint condition, modern kitchen, spacious and bright sitting area, due to wide windows that allow for a splendid lake view (which is very conveniently located in close proximity of the cottage). Kayak, canoe and paddleboard available allowed us to admire the beautiful surroundings and fall colors from the water too. We even utilized the fire pit on a night with a bright full moon which made Sunday Thanksgiving celebration special! We are mountain bikers and we were pleased to find decent nearby trails. (and for those who do not plan on bringing bikes hiking trails close to Bancroft take you to some amazing lookout points!). Bancroft itself proved to be a cute little town that deserves a stroll and can save you if some essentials are forgotten like it happened to me :). Plenty of bathrooms for a large group, manicured lawns, quiet surroundings. All the required information and the needed details were provided in advance, thank you very much for all your help and caring attitude, Samir! We definitely plan on returning to this cottage next year!

This place is amazing. This place was clean and beautiful.

We highly recommend it. The lake views are spectacular worth every penny. The best part of the trip was that we were able to use the kayaks, canoe and the paddle boat.

We wound return again next year.

definitely a great place to stay at. most rooms were nice and large, the pond inside was a cool add. the area has a surprisingly low number of mosquitoes which made the trip much better. only thing to note is that 2 washrooms were open concept and some room locks were tough to use. amazing place overall

The facilities were exactly as shown and clean, the dock and lake were great. Lots of common space and all the bedrooms were large.

Be advised the internet is satellite, but it worked well enough.

Overall was a great experience, and we would book it again.

Samir’s cottage was fantastic! Lots of space for our group of 12 to spend time together and to have time apart. The highlight was the large dock that could fit all of us at once. The cottage itself is beautiful and comfortable, and it looks just as it does in the pictures. Communicating with Samir was a breeze. We had a wonderful long weekend here.

It is very comfortable with all modern amenities and our family would not hesitate to stay here again. Warm, welcoming and a treat to visit. Bay lake has clear water where we can use the paddle board, canoe and the kayaks that was provided. Proximity to Bancroft city centre was a blessing. Enough privacy with the area feeling safe and secure. Rare to find such helpful, professional and thoughtful owner whose integrity, help and advice was very much appreciated.

We spent 3 nights at this amazing cottage. When we arrived on the first day, I couldn’t get my eyes off fantastic back yard lake view, we didn’t go inside until 20 minutes later because the view is amazing and we couldn’t stop taking photos.

It has everything you can imagine, pool table, WII, lots of table games, table soccer, Kayarks, Canoe and lots of extra. You can even find gold fishes in the inside pond in the living room

Every room is clean and bright, room supply is perfect.

Overall, this is the best cottage I have ever stayed. Host -Samir is super nice and always ready to help. Will definitely visit again!
